SANTA CRUZ—The Santa Cruz County Emergency Operations Center has announced it will be offering a free lunch program for evacuees of the CZU Lightning Complex fires beginning Tuesday.

The meals are being provided by an anonymous donor through local participating restaurants, food trucks and companies including My Mom’s Mole, Woodstock Pizza, Barceloneta, Rogue Pye, Half Moon Bay Brewing, Kickin’ Chicken, Full Steam Dumplings, Feel Good Foods and Hanloh Thai Foods.

Meals are only available for residents who have been processed through the resource center. Each meal will be individually packaged and ready for pick-up around noon.

The Recovery Resource Center is located at Kaiser Permanente Arena, 140 Front St., Santa Cruz and is open from 11am-7pm. No appointment is necessary.
