Jessica May Lowe makes her second appearance in Superior Court Tuesday where a new date of Sept. 7 was set for further arraignment following psychological evaluation. In June, Lowe pleaded not guilty on charges of allegedly stealing a Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s cruiser and striking him with it on May 18 in Santa Cruz. Lowe is charged with attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, resisting arrest, escaping from custody and vehicle theft. She is being held in Santa Cruz County Jail without bail.
