Kendra Barkoff and Jonathan Lamy have announced their engagement to be married Jan. 12. The ceremony and festivities are scheduled at the Fairmont Mayakoba in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Rodger and Sharon Barkoff of Los Altos Hills. She graduated from Castilleja High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Washington University in St. Louis. She is Vice President Joe Biden’s press secretary.
The groom-to-be is the son of U.S. Rep. Anne Lamy Mook and Wes Mook of Bennington, Vt. He earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Ohio University. He is employed as senior vice president of communications at the Recording Industry Association of America.
The couple live in Washington, D.C.
