Watsonville firefighters and American Medical Response paramedics deal with a three-vehicle crash Friday on Rodriguez and West Fifth streets. Watsonville Police traffic officer Devon McMahon said a female driver of a Mitsubishi Galant was driving northbound on Rodriguez Street when the driver of a Ford Ranger pickup came out of West Fifth and clipped the side of the Galant. That collision sent the Galant into a spin before it smashed into a parked Mercedes Benz sedan. The Galant driver was taken to Watsonville Community Hospital as a precaution. The Galant and Mercedes sustained major damage.
