PROJECT COMPLETE A new patio and spruced up landscaping project is now complete at the front of CASA (Volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocates) on Freedom Boulevard in Watsonville. “The newly completed arbor, patio and garden will be enjoyed by children, volunteers and staff as CASA continues their work to realize their vision that all children are nurtured within the hearts and homes of safe and loving families,” said Lynne Petrovic, Executive Director. CASA volunteers typically devote 2-4 hours a week getting to know one child who is in the foster care system because of abuse or neglect.  Interested volunteers can learn more at casaofsantacruz.org.
