WATSONVILLE — Police have surrounded a building on Brennan Street Monday morning after reports that a burglary suspect is inside.
According to Watsonville Police Sgt. Bryan Fuentez, employees opening Teen Challenge Monterey Bay on Brennan Street for the day called police at about 10:10 a.m. after they heard movement upstairs. The employees also found two broken windows on the second story with a ladder in place.
Police are currently waiting for a K-9 officer to arrive in order to flush out the suspect.
Numerous patrol cars are on scene.
Update 11:25 a.m. Watsonville Police officer Brian Fulgoni has led his K9 officer Ranger into the building to flush out any suspects
