Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s deputies conduct a high-risk car stop Tuesday morning on Holohan Road after receiving reports of a man pointing a rifle at agricultural workers. Emergency dispatchers sent deputies to an area at Grimmer Road near a home situated in an agricultural field. Within minutes deputies swarmed a white pickup that a man started driving from the property. They detained the driver for questioning. Traffic in the area was slowed for a brief spell for deputies to secure the scene. The incident is still under investigation.
