Richard E. Maestas passed away on April 24, 2026, at home, due to complications of Parkinson’s Disease.
Richard is survived by his wife, Anna Marie Maestas; daughter, Kristin Maestas; granddaughter, Sierra Maestas-Gach and her husband, Eric Gach; and great-grandchildren, Bennett and Layne.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Idaho State University’s College of Arts and Letters, where Richard was honored to serve as a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board for 10 years.
