Roberto Garcia died unexpectedly on Monday, Dec. 31, 2018. He was 38.
Mr. Garcia was born to Monico Garcia and Isabel Rafael in Vera Cruz, Mexico on May 27, 1980. He was a resident of this community for 16 years. He was a hard worker and a good husband and father, who always provided for his family. He worked at a ranch for 14 years and had many horses in his care. Mr. Garcia was a happy person, always smiling, very sociable and a kind person. He had a passion for soccer; he participated in all aspects of the game. He liked to watch soccer games on TV, loved to play soccer and he also coached many youth soccer teams.
Mr. Garcia is survived by his wife, MariCruz Soriano; one son, Robert Donovan Garcia; three daughters, Genesis, Joselin Garcia and Maria Corrales; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Iglesia Bautista Nueva Vida in Aptos on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019 from 3-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be celebrated on Thursday, Jan. 10 at 1 p.m. in the same church with burial to follow at Valley Public Cemetery.
