The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred on Oct. 10 around 11:30pm, in the area of Center Avenue and Sea Terrace Way in Aptos.
Deputies responded to reports of gunfire, and while searching the area they found evidence and available surveillance footage.
No injuries were reported.
The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information, video, or other potentially relevant evidence to call the Sheriff’s Office at 831.471.1121.
Residents, businesses, and anyone who traveled through the area around the time of the incident are encouraged to check security cameras, doorbell cameras, and dashcams.
Even information that may seem minor could be helpful, officials said.
