G League Basketball: Santa Cruz falls to Austin in Golden State’s house
Quinn Cook had 28 points and nine assists, Damian Jones and Damion Lee added 15 points apiece but it wasn’t enough for the Santa Cruz Warriors in a 105-97 loss to the Austin Spurs on Sunday night at Oracle Arena in Oakland.
Boys SCCAL Volleyball: Mariners’ Losik named league M.V.P.
Losik was named the Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League’s Most Valuable Player, Landel won Coach of the Year for the second straight season and five other players earned all-league honors. Seniors Noah Eitzen and Christian Segura made the All-SCCAL First Team, and junior Jackson Shirley made the All-SCCAL Second Team, while senior Michael Spinelli and junior Hayden Mennie landed honorable mention.
