The Watsonville High softball team picked up a trio of shutout wins on Saturday in its own tournament. The Wildcatz beat Seaside High, 11-0, Cupertino High, 10-0, and Monterey High, 11-0, to improve to 9-0 overall.

HS Softball Roundup, 5/4: St. Francis bounces back from tough loss to make history

The Sharks lost 9-4 Tuesday to defending SCCAL champion S.L.V. The loss eliminated the Sharks from the SCCAL title hunt, but they bounced back on Thursday with a 14-1 win over Santa Cruz High at home to set the program record for most wins in a single season (11).
