WATSONVILLE—The Watsonville Elks Lodge celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with a dinner of corned beef and cabbage, live music by Martin the Hit Man and dancing.

Profits from the event went to the Elks National Foundation and Purple Pig Program.

The Elks will hold their next event on May 20: Spring Fashion, Dinner, Dance. The members will soon be distributing flyers to local merchants and asking for raffle prize donations. Tables for businesses will also be offered at the event for $20 per table.

The Elks meet Wednesdays at 121 Martinelli St. in Watsonville, with a no host bar at 5:30pm and dinner at 6:30pm.

For information, call the lodge at 724.2493 or Jim Oldakowski at 510.648.5707.
