Kathryn Serowka and Matthew Lane have announced their engagement to be married May 19 in Pacific Palisades. A reception will be held at the Bel-Air Bay Club.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Edward and Nancy Serowka of Indianapolis. She graduated from Noblesville High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Vanderbilt University and a doctorate from the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. She is currently a resident in dermatology at UC Irvine.
The groom-to-be is the son of Mrs. Maureen and Dr. Al Lane of Los Altos. He graduated from St. Francis High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in communication studies with a business minor from Loyola Marymount University and a juris doctorate from Southwestern Law School. He is employed as an associate at a civil litigation firm specializing in construction law. The couple plan to live in Newport Beach.
