The Cubs coasted to a 14-2 win over the Rays on Friday in Pajaro Valley Little League Majors action.

Izzy Acosta hit two singles and drove in three runs. Adam Martinez had a single, a double and three scored runs. Diego Mitchell belted a homer.

For the Rays, Reis Vasconcellos doubled.

• Athletics 14, Astros 13 – The Athletics outlasted the Astros, 14-13, on Saturday in Pajaro Valley Little League Majors action.

Jackson Miller singled, doubled and scored three times. Joel Mendoza hit a single and a triple, while also driving in five runs. Nate Madrigal and D.J. DeLuna each had two RBIs. DeLuna also hit a double.

Brant Sirles knocked in a pair for the Astros, while Albert Martinez and Jason Naranjo both hit two singles.

• Padres 11, Cubs 7 – Isaac Garcia hit two singles and a triple, Aidan Bajan smacked two doubles and the Padres beat the Cubs 11-7 on Saturday in Pajaro Valley Little League Majors play.

Diego Mitchell and Issac Chavez each hit a double for the Cubs.

• Braves 19, Rays 7 – Nathaniel Arreola hit a home run and had three RBIs in the Braves 19-7 win over the Rays on Saturday in Pajaro Valley Little League Majors action.

Aidan Sabatino doubled for the Braves.

For the Rays, Brody Legions scored three times and Pablo Moran doubled.

AAA MINORS

• Mets 9, Orioles 6 – The Mets bested the Orioles, 9-6, on Saturday in Pajaro Valley Little League AAA Minors action.

Jason Uduc doubled for the Mets.

Samuel Garcia doubled and singled for the O’s.

• Yankees 14, Pirates 4 – The Yankees made quick work of the Pirates in a 14-4 Pajaro Valley Little League AAA Minors win on Saturday.

Iker Ponce doubled for the Yanks.

Josh Couchman scored a pair of runs for the Pirates.

• Red Sox 17, Cardinals 7 – The Red Sox handled the Cardinals in a 17-7 Pajaro Valley Little League AAA Minors win over the Cardinals on Saturday.

Jesse Navarro tripled, Brady Cortez hit a single and a double and Diego Mejia had two singles for the Sox.

Jason Coronado, Brandon Smith and Ryan Smith all hit a triple for the Cards.
