Police nab arson suspect

Watsonville Police are crediting social media with helping them nab a 16-year-old arson suspect who allegedly started a fire at Starlight Elementary School on Aug. 27.

Two arrested for guns, two pounds of meth

Two Watsonville men were arrested during a traffic stop Thursday after police found a “substantial” amount of methamphetamine and guns in their vehicle, Watsonville Police Cpl. Rudy Lopez said Friday.
