WATSONVILLE — Police reported two separate shooting incidents within 15 minutes of each other early Tuesday.

According to Watsonville Police Sgt. Mish Radich, officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Martinelli Street after multiple reports of gunshots heard in the area at about 12:56 a.m. Officers found an unoccupied vehicle which had its windows shot out, as well as an occupied home that was also struck by gunfire.

No one was injured during the shooting.

Witnesses said they heard, but didn’t see, a vehicle fleeing the area at a high rate of speed.

Shortly after, at about 1:11 a.m., officers responded to reports of shots fired on the 200 block of Green Meadow Drive.

While officers located shell casings at the scene, no one was injured and no homes had been struck.

There is no suspect information for both of these incidents.
